Winners of the July 2010: Save Galleons! Contest Announced

Winners have now been announced for the July 2010 Contest: Save Galleons! Why Buy It When You Can Craft It? Entrants were asked to create an original item which could be taken to or bought at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter theme park attraction. Additionally, those entering the contest had to write a full tutorial for the item they had created. The judges received many wonderful entries and have now selected their winners as follows:

First Place: Dragon Species of the World Book by rvotaw
Second Place: Harry Potter Potion Pendants by TFDelta
Third Place: Harry Potter Charm Bracelet by Lizzyrc
Honourable Mention: Hogwarts House Hair Clips by iris_lily

these are awesome! i wish i was crafty or had a job where i could do crafts all day. i love the idea of the small envelope on the dragon pages (in the dragon book) with a ‘dragon artifact’!

Phlegm… Everyone is crafty! If you want, just go to our crafts page, find a simple tutorial, and start there. From there, you can work your way up to more complicated things. Do that, and in next to no time you’ll be an expert! :D
